Our Gardens

We are lucky to have five acres of the most secluded and peaceful gardens imaginable. In spring, roses scent the courtyard garden, with its tinkling fountain. Wisteria and lavender border the lovely verandah, the perfect place to relax with afternoon tea and a book. A magnificent beech avenue fronts the house, offering a pleasant stroll leading through a yew tree gate to the stream.

In May the woodland is carpeted with bluebells, we have over a hundred varieties of old rose which bloom through the summer months, and in autumn the acer garden leads the riot
of seasonal colour.

The Llŷn Peninsula is an unspoilt landscape, designated and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, ringed by sandy beaches and stunning sea-cliffs. Now part of the Wales Coastal Path, the shoreline offers excellent walking with spectacular views back to Snowdonia. There are three golf courses and two clay shoots on the peninsula, and the waters offer some of the best sailing in Britain.

Villages with quaint little churches are a reminder that the peninsula was once the pilgrim route to Bardsey Island, where twenty thousand saints are reputedly buried.
